Twilio SMS Setup
Connect your Twilio account to send automated SMS notifications, purchase receipts, and subscription warnings globally.
You need a Twilio account with a verified phone number or sender ID. Sign up at Twilio if you do not have one.

Locate API Credentials
Log in to the Twilio Console homepage and retrieve your account identifiers:
Account SIDCopy the unique string starting with
AC... found in the Account Info dashboard card.Auth TokenClick Show to display and copy your secret Auth Token. Keep this token private.

Acquire a Phone Number / Sender ID
To send SMS messages, you must have an active Twilio number. Navigate to Phone Numbers → Manage → Active Numbers to copy your Twilio number (in E.164 format, e.g. +1234567890). Depending on your region, you can also register alphanumeric Sender IDs.

Configure Gateway in VillageConnect
Open your Admin Panel → Settings → Manage Notifications → Gateway Settings:
- Set SMS Provider to Twilio.
- Paste your Account SID.
- Paste your Auth Token.
- Enter your Twilio phone number or alphanumeric Sender ID in the From Number field.
You are all set!
VillageConnect will now automatically send system messages and alerts using Twilio SMS services.
