Infobip SMS Setup
Connect your Infobip account to send automated transaction messages and login SMS notifications to global subscribers via Infobip's enterprise network.
You need an active Infobip account. Create an Infobip account if you do not have one.

Generate an API Key and Locate Base URL
Infobip uses tenant-specific API endpoints and secure authorization tokens:
- Log in to your Infobip Portal dashboard.
- Locate your custom API Base URL (typically displayed on the homepage dashboard in the format
https://xxxxxx.api.infobip.com). - Navigate to Developers → API Keys.
- Generate a new API Key with permissions to send SMS messages. Copy it securely.

Register Sender ID
Go to the Channels → SMS → Senders section in Infobip. Register a Sender ID or request a pre-registered number. An approved Sender ID allows custom brand names to be shown on the subscriber's phone instead of standard numeric phone numbers.

Configure Gateway in VillageConnect
Open your Admin Panel → Settings → Manage Notifications → Gateway Settings:
- Set SMS Provider to Infobip.
- Paste your API Key.
- Paste your custom Infobip Base URL.
- Enter your approved Sender ID (e.g.
InfoSMS).
You are all set!
VillageConnect will now forward text notifications to your subscribers via Infobip SMS integration.
